Senior Software Engineer, Full Stack (TypeScript, React, AWS)

## 1\. Overview

A leading digital health technology company is hiring a Senior Full Stack Engineer to design and build the backend services, distributed systems, and patient-facing applications behind its EHR-integrated care platform. You'll work in TypeScript/Node.js and React, ship microservices on AWS, and help shape technical direction.

This is a full-time W-2 employment position with Cincinnatus LLC, based in Seattle, WA, with the opportunity to be placed at a leading healthcare technology company as part of their extended workforce. **Note: this is a hybrid role with two days a week in the Seattle office.**

## 2\. Key Responsibilities

• Design and build robust TypeScript/Node.js services for EHR integrations and clinical workflows.

• Deploy and operate microservices on AWS using containerization.

• Build React/TypeScript provider- and patient-facing interfaces optimized for desktop and mobile.

• Develop integrations with patient-education and patient-engagement vendors, including notifications and tracking.

• Contribute to code reviews and system-design discussions, balancing quality with startup speed.

## 3\. Core Qualifications

• 3 to 5 years of professional experience building production software systems using TypeScript/JavaScript.

• Strong computer science fundamentals: algorithms, data structures, OOP design, concurrency, and distributed systems.

• RESTful or event-driven API development with Node.js (Nest/Express).

• Strong front-end skills with React and TypeScript, including mobile and desktop optimization.

• Comfort debugging across distributed services and working agilely in a startup environment.

• Must be a U.S. citizen or permanent resident located in the United States; this role is hybrid, with onsite days in Seattle, WA.

**Preferred Qualifications**

• Healthcare startup or health-data integration background.

• High-throughput messaging platform experience.

• AWS, GCP, or Azure cloud experience.

• Tailwind CSS expertise.
